New AIDS Foundation bears Nkosi Johnson's name
 
The NJAF, an Association Incorporated under Section 21 with the registration number 2001/020953/08, was established on the advent of the death of Nkosi Johnson in June 2001.

This body essentially encompasses the fundraising efforts for all the Nkosi 's Haven projects.
An entirely independent board has been appointed. The following members act as directors:
Gail Johnson - Director of Nkosi 's Haven
Dr Laurette Scheffer (Phd) - Business person
Lee Mendelsohn - Lawyer
Paul Smollan - Lawyer
The board comprises the following:
Dr A Coovadia - Paediatrics specialist
Shirley Mabusela - Human Rights Commission
Mike Frampton - Advertising executive
Dr Bongani Khumalo (pending) - Chief Executive Officer - Transnet
Oscar Martin - Administration manager of Nkosi 's Haven
Prof. Dr Robert Gorter - International oncologist and HIV specialist
Three of the above directors still need to be appointed to the board.
PriceWaterHouseCoopers are the appointed auditors of the Foundation.
The foundation adheres to the strictest principles of internationally accepted corporate governance and transparency. Audited financial results will be published annually in the main stream media and will be available to the public on request.
